Analysis of Impact on National Health Insurance Service Occupational Therapy Cost of treatment, Number of patients, and Number of treatments Based on Public Data: 2017~2019

Abstract

|
Objective : This study was conducted to find out the current status of National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) occupational therapy and analysis of impact on Cost of treatment, Number of patients, and Number of treatments based on public data.
Methods : The status of NHIS occupational therapy were gathered through Healthcare Bigdata Hub from 2017 to 2019. Independent and dependent variables were set for analysis and statistical analysis was performed.
Results : The occupational therapy Cost of treatment, Number of patients, Number of treatments, The number of patient(per occupational therapist), and Occupational Therapist NHIS Income (per Occupational Therapist and per treatment) all increased in 2019 compared to 2017. As a result of analysis by Treatment Action, MM113 was the most for Cost of treatment and Number of treatments, and MM112 was the most for the Number of patients. As a result of the regression analysis, MM113 had the greatest influence on the increase in Cost of treatment, Number of patients, Number of treatments. The smallest influence was MM111, whose standardization coefficient was the largest negative value in all regression models.
Conclusion : Through this study, we were able to find out the latest trend s in NHIS occupational therapy. In the future, data should be continuously collected and analyzed for changes in NHIS occupational therapy.
